I'm excited to invite you to our next Monthly Acoustic Jam Session in Park Slope—a casual and community-driven gathering for local musicians to connect, play, and have fun.
This jam is perfect for folks who can comfortably strum open chords and want to play music with others in a relaxed, welcoming space. While it leans guitar-friendly, all acoustic instruments are welcome—fiddle, ukulele, mandolin ... you name it!
🎵 What to expect:
A warm, laid-back vibe
Playing and singing songs together (folk, rock, blues, classics—and feel free to bring songs to share!)
A great way to meet fellow local musicians
Light moderation to keep the tunes flowing and make sure everyone feels supported as we play through songs together
We’ll pick a few songs ahead of time and share them with the group, but there’s always space for simple tunes to be added on the fly during the jam
📍 Event Details:
Date: Monday, April 14th
Time: 8:00–10:00 PM (no pressure to stay the whole time)
Location: Spoke the Hub – 748 Union St, Brooklyn, NY 11215
Contribution: $10 (just to cover the room rental—I'm not making anything from this!)
Group Size: Capped at 10 people to keep it intimate and give everyone a chance to play

Join us for the first-ever Park Slope Monthly Acoustic Jam! This is an open and welcoming space for musicians of all levels to come together, play songs, and connect through music. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just love to strum along, bring your instrument and your enthusiasm!
📅 Date: Monday, March 10th
⏰ Time: 7:00 - 8:30 PM
📍 Location: Spoke the Hub - 748 Union St, Brooklyn, NY 11215
💰 Cost: $10 – This is only to cover the cost of the room rental. When you sign up using the link below, you’ll be asked to pay the $10 fee to reserve your spot. If you prefer to pay by Venmo, please message me directly.
This is our first session, and if it goes well, we hope to make it a recurring monthly event in this space—a place for Park Slope musicians to gather, jam, and build community.
🔹 Acoustic instruments only (guitar, ukulele, fiddle, mandolin, etc.)
🔹 Songs will be a mix of folk, rock, blues, pop, and anything else that works well acoustically
🔹 While beginners are welcome, we recommend that participants be comfortable keeping a basic rhythm and switching between common open chords to fully enjoy the jam.
🔹 Feel free to bring song suggestions or just jump in and play along
I’m organizing this purely to build community, not as part of my business. I’ll help facilitate the session by suggesting songs and keeping things flowing, but this is a casual, collaborative jam—just people coming together to make music in a fun and welcoming space.
